ArxProtect® Financial Guarantee
ArxProtect® backs qualifying Oracle licensing advice with a financial guarantee. If a court establishes that a customer who followed LicenseFortress’s advice is out of compliance because of that advice, LicenseFortress pays for the resulting required licenses, subject to the applicable agreement.
How this differs from other industry guarantees
Savings guarantees, no-fee audit-defense commitments and payment of qualifying license costs address different outcomes. A savings guarantee concerns what an engagement saves; a no-fee defense commitment concerns what the defense work costs. The ArxProtect® financial guarantee concerns payment of required licenses when qualifying advice proves wrong. Through ArxProtect®, LicenseFortress provides legal representation but does not cover outside legal fees; protection requires that the customer followed LicenseFortress’s advice and is subject to the applicable agreement.
Available through ArxProtect® only. Oracle Java is excluded. Protection requires an active ArxProtect® agreement and adherence to LicenseFortress’s advice. Coverage is governed by the applicable agreement.
